I am trying to find the ship on which my father, Lars Larsen Tvihaug, sailed to America on, and when and where he landed. I believe he left Stavanger, Norway on or about april 28, 1922. His destination would have been Chicago, IL to stay with his sister and her husband (Bertina & Knut Berge). In my search of Ellis Island I had no luck in finding him. I would appreciate any information on him that you could find.. My mother and two brothers came to america the following year. Thank you for any help you can give me. Louise (Larsen Tvihaug) Groe. The database "Emigrantar frå Stavanger 1903-1928" on the Digitalarkivet records Lars L. Tvihaug as leaving 28 April 1923. Theodora Tvihaug with Paul and Henry left 11 March 1924. Names of ships are not recorded in this database.
