Mads (Mat) Salthammer from Vestnes sailed to North America with cousin Kristoffer O. Helland and arrived in North Dakota in May 1890. Mads was born in Vestnes in 1874 or 1875, May 6th.

Would like to know if any recored exists of him travelling.

Kristofer Olsen Helland and Mads Jakobsen 'Selthammer' sailed from the port of Bergen, Norway on or about 10 April 1980 -
