I can't give you any information about your relatives, but the ship Høvding where build in the city Moss in the southeast of Norway, and belong there for many years. Maybe you can start around there?
Good luck!

Hallo shazz, - - Have you received any answers regarding Martin Hansen yet?? - - I have a lot of information on this familie. -- They travelled on the same voyage as my Grt Grandparents, Peter Edvard Hansen og Jørgine Larsdatter . They settled in the village of Norsewood. - - - Sorry Kejo but det Høvding skip was built i Tønsberg during 1868. - - A very good full rigger that was converted to a barque rig about 1882. The largest og fastest ship built i det period i Tønsberg - - Shazz, you may contact me direct any time that you wish.
Med vennlig hilsen fra Bob Hansen i Ny Seeland.
