I have found an old trunk with a sticker on it that reads,
" Scandinaview amerika linien" Copenhagen -New York

It shows a number B 72632. I'm curious as to the date it came
over. Is there some way to find out ?

I don't think there is anyway of knowing when the trunk came unless you know the name of the person who owned it. On this site there is information on The Scandinavian America Line Click Here It opereated between 1898 and 1935
