I'm having lots of fun meeting members of the Berg family here in the U.S., but would still like to contact our relatives in Nes Romerike, Akershus and Valders, Vestre Slidre, Norway.

Knut, Ole, Helga and Arne Berg were siblings from the Hordaland area who came to the U.S. and settled in the Traill/Steele county areas of North Dakota. Helga Berg married Asgrim Ruud, who apparently got into some trouble in Norway prior to leaving for the U.S. Helga and Asgrim were my great-great grandparents. Ole Berg married Anne Mobeck, my great-grandma's sister.

My great-grandmother was Maria Mobeck. She married Syver Ruud, Asgrim and Helga Berg's son. Maria and Syver had three children, one of whom was my grandmother, Hazel Vick, born in 1900. She married Lars Knut Vick from Valdres, Vestre Slidre, Norway.

Any information about Norwegian relatives would be greatly appreciated! I already have census lists from 1900, but would love to know if any relatives are still in Norway. Thanks.
