Amund Torkildsen was from Verdal, Nord Tr Ndelag I am trying to find out anything I can for example who his wife and ancestors were. He was the father of my great great grandfather who was Jakob Amundsen of Strand farm and was born in about 1844 in Sjåger known today as Sjåk. He married Sept 18, 1865 Marie (Marit) Olsdotter from Lomb/Lom Marie's father was Ole Pedersen. I have a list of their children if it would be of help. 1867 Ole Andreas, 1869 Peder, 1871 Karl Martin, 1873 Petra Marie, 1877 Julie. They moved to Minnesota in the USA. Don't know during what year. I so hope someone can help.
