This was my g g grandfather. 1905 was as far as we know his second journey to the US. His wife didn't knew that he was home this year, as far as she knew; He left them in the year of 1900.
Now we know that he went to Chicago with the ship "Montebello" from the Bennet lines.
According to my grand mother Peders wife got a letter in 1939 including his whatch saying that he was dead and this was all he left.
In Norway he used the familyname Johansen Nikarainen, but the shiplist says Sikaaberget. this was the farm name.

Is there anyone out in the "big web" that might find him in Chicago/Illinois for me?

hopefully I've got the forum for my question...If not; I'll promise to better next time

With love from the great place called Rjukan
