I would appreciate if someone could point me to some websites that can assist me finding out more information about my great great grandfather. All I have is that is was born Oslo Norway, no dob, no marriage date and no emigration details. He married a Emily Melbourne Dickenson I think in Melbourne Australia and they had a daughter Florence Louise Janson, DOB 30/9/19887 in Fitzroy, Melbourne Victoria Australia. Could someone point me in the right direction as to where I start locating details of my great great grandfather - I have searched over & over but am getting very lost. I have been told that his name was probably Jensen and not Janson by another researcher. On source documents I have 3 different spellings Jenson, Jansen & Janson.
I would imagine that he was born 1850 in view of his daughter's birth.
Any help would be appreciated..
