Congratulations Einar. It is great that you have connected with someone. My roots come from Lesja, Verdal, Namsos, and Snåsa. I was able to find and visit some of our relatives a few years ago.
Good Luck Carla

Thanks! A lot of family info is being exchanged day by day now - between the Seattle family members and me.

Hi Carla,

My third cousin in Tacoma, WA and his wife visited us in Oslo in May and that was great. It is all thanks to your brilliant research!
They went to Verdal as well. I had helped them find the farm in Verdal where Ed's grandfather came from and a number of his family members up there.. I know you have relatives there, as well.... Folks in Verdal were excited to meet Ed and his wife. To make a breakthrough for such arrangements in Norway (finding families of emigrants) I have now learned that local libraries are of immense value!

Hi Einar,
That is wonderful. I am sure your relatives had a wonderful time. The people in Verdal are great and the area is beautiful, but that applies to all of Norway.

It is nice to hear when all the work the people on this site do, meets with success.
Carla
