From the excellent information on this site I note that the SS Arizona of the Guion Line - arrived in New York on 7 Feb 1882.

From the Ancestry.com site I have found a passenger list and record stating that the Arizona arrived in New York on 7 Feb 1883. I think that a relative was on board - travelling from Liverpool, via Queenstown to New York.

Please can anyone tell me whether (7 Feb) 1882 or 1883 is the correct year for this voyage. The difference in a year is very important to my subsequent research about this ancestor.

Very many thanks for any help offered

Regards
David

Our lists of arrivals ar by no way complete, but new dates are added frequently. The passengers were landed at Castle Garden on Feb. 7, 1883:

New York Times Feb 8, 1883. pg. 10:
The steam-ship Arizona, from Liverpool, landed 167 immigrants at Castle Garden yesterday.
