I am looking for the death date of my great grandfather, Nils Rasmussen. He is listed in the 1865 census as living with his daughter, Andrea Nikkoline Nilsdatter and son, Knud Nilssen and his wife, Anne Martilde Halvorsdatter. After that date I have lost Nils Rasmussen, could anyone let me know if they know the date of his death.
Where was he from? They are farm book look up volunteers, historical societies that could probably help you. Most likely the church records are available on microfilm from a local Family History Center.
The information Hopkins gave you on your 4-11-05 posting would still be applicable. Research in farm books and also rent the church record microfilms at a local Family History Center.
You should continue your inquiries on the same family in your original posting so all the information is available and not cause confusion and unnecessary research.
