Christian Hoff is the father of Maren G. (Huff) (Hoff) Vick.

I'm told that the name Huff is not a Norweign name and that it should be Hoff but several old documents sometimes report the maiden name as Huff and sometimes Hoff.

Maren was born in Norway on April 27, 1848.

She came to America and married Hans Peter (Hansen) Vick on September 14, 1874 in Wilmar, Kandiyohi County, Minnesota.

Maren died in Opheim, Montana on January 15, 1924.

I have lots of information about Maren in the US but have been unable to identify what ship or exactly when she came to the US. Would dearly love to find some kind of information about her family in Norway.

Thank you.

Roger Vick

Haven't had a response this year. Wanted to investigate Maren's father's records.

How do you get an item deleted?
