Didn't there used to be an earlier census record than 1801 on Digitalarkivet? Does anyone know if there is an earlier one on the internet? Thanks

Hi Lori,
if you go here, you'll find all census'es available at Digitalarkivet.
(If you start from the homepage http://www.digitalarkivet.no, you'll have to navigate through the Database selector in the upper left corner.)

If you look under Sub-category now, you'll see what's available.
Censuses from 1660, 1701 and 1780 are available, however they do not cover the whole country, only certain districts. And mostly only adult men.
