Ancestry.com shows a marriage between A.E. Bye and Annette G. Grimland (born March 15, 1861) on March 25, 1880 in Bosque County, Texas. You could try to obtain the marriage register/license/application for further information.

There are several trees for this family on Rootsweb.com, not all accurate I think. It indicates a son, Arnt Bye born 1886 and dying in Minnesota in 1865. This Minnesota Bye was born in Norway and immigrated in 1909. There is alot of information on Annette on Rootsweb.

By 1900 Annette has remarried to a J.G. Britlen (hard to read), shows married for 10 years, there are several older Britten children and four Bye children, Adain, 19, Alice, 16, Jessie, 14 and Katie, 7. Katie is named Bye so Arnt must have been alive around 1893. They are enumerated in Navarro County, Texas.

Annette Gurine "Annie" Grimland was a relative of mine and I have her second husband's name as J. G. Butler.
