Ridder Ulf GUDMARSEN Ulvåsa was Lagmann. He was born in 1298 at Ulvåsa, Nærke, Vest Gøtaland, Sweden. He married den hellige (The Holy) Birgitta BIRGERSDTR Finnstad (1330), daughter of Lagmann Birger Petersen AND Finnstad (1331) and Ingeborg Bengtsdtr LEJON Gotland (1332), circa 1316. He had Et barn F.1328 (a child born 1328),et i 1330 (and in 1330). He died between 12 Feb 1343 and 1344 at Ulvåsa, Nærke, Gøtland, Sweden.

I need help with 3 words in this passage: lagmann, fjas and fanteri.

I think the main part translates to:

They traveled on a pilgrimage to Compostela in Spain. He died in Cisternklosteret (a monastery?) in Alvastra. He liked good food and drink and sat willingly somewhat long at the table with good friends. He was happy with expensive beverages, beautiful horses, jousting with horses, and wordly tough ______ (fjas). And it was said he was always amused whenever the court jesters performed with silly ___(fjas) and ___ (fanteri).

Can anyone help me here?

Thanks,

Roberta
