Hello, I am new to this sight and to this mission. In advance I give thanks to any and all who may provide me with information. Thank You!!! My name is Virginia Buie, I am the grand daughter of Anna Gray who was the daughter of Anton Peterson(Pedersen) and Oline Dunsrude. They were married in Odalen County Norway in 1883 or 1884 and came to America in 1890-1891. They settled in Grafton, ND and changed their name to Overby. The only information I have on Anton Overby is that he was born 1861 in Norway, was the son of Soren Peterson(Pedersen) and that he had a brother named Hans. Oline Overby was the daughter of Karen Sandrick and Per Dunsrude. The Dunsrudes came to America and settled near Osnaburuck (Osnabuck) NS and changed their name to Peterson.
Parish area they came from is listed as Sør Odal in Hedmark province of Norway. If you are looking for documentation for earlier family history that would be the area to search.
