does anyone have or know where i can get a simple tree/branch chart?

one that works a single "branch" at a time...

Basic books on family history/genealogy that you can borrow at your local public library may also have charts that you can copy.

If you look at cyndislist.com - under the topic "Supplies, Charts, Forms, Etc." and you'll find a long long list of places to get such forms.

Familysearch.org has blank forms AND free downloads of their Personal Ancestry File program that is very easy to use and compatible with all other family tree programs.
