Hi! I have just located a place of birth for Henrik Mohn Jacobsen Frich in 1838. However, whilst I have his parents, Jacob Frich and Friedrikke Mohn I cannot locate their marriage, or Friedrikke's birth.

Can anyone advise me of next step or direction. Appreciate anything. Many thanks. Marie

The Mohn family in Bergen are quite known, and there exist a book about this family published in 1929.

Jakob Neumann Mohn (1838-1882) is a son of this Albert Heinrich born on Jul-07-1811. That makes him a cousin to your Henrik Mohn Jacobsen. Jakob Neumann Mohn was one of the founders for Statistics Norway. Statistician J.N. Mohn died suddenly at age 44.
