I'm seeking any info on Hans Christopher Nielson who came to Victoria, Australia in Jan. 1866 on the "Hindoo" from China.
Hans was born Bergen, Bergen, 13 March,1843, his father was Nils Nielson, Mother Ingeborg Oldsdatter, the only thing I can think of was that Hans may have been a seaman and possibly jumped ship in China to head for Australia, any help would be appreciated.
