I'm wondering if there are any descendants of Pontus MORK (born in Sweden and died in Norway circa. 1871/72) and his wife Sofia remaining in Norway. She remarried after his death and emigrated to New Zealand in 1873 with her four children Amanda Charlotte, Thor, Anna Elise and Sigrid - and her new husband Fredrick Jonsen. The MORKS lived in Christiania as far as I know. Amanda (known as Charlotte when she lived in NZ) was my gr-gr grandmother.

If Sofia took all their children to New Zealand why would she have descendants in Norway? Did any of her children return to Norway? If yes, what where their names and birthyears?

You've several documents showing the 'Mork's living in Oslo/Christiania for at least a number of years, you needn't sound doubtful.
Scanned church record found in this thread of a few days ago -
