Hello
I am trying to find out how to get a geneology related booked titled "Verdals Boka" volumes four and five. This is actually a whole series of about five or six books. If anyone could help me figure out how to get these books as these are from Norway and I don't think I can get them in the U.S.
Thanks for your help

What area do these books reference? What publication dates are you looking at? These books get updated and are published at different times.

If you have been helped by a lookup volunteer, maybe they can give you a clue.

These books would be for the area of Verdal and I am not sure as to what the publication dates would be.

Hi Tim,

send an email to someone listed on this page.

They work at the "service office" at the local government in Verdal, and are "in charge" of the "Verdal Bygdebooks"...

If you want to purchase a book, the prices can be viewed here.
They are sold at the service office, or at any bookstore in Verdal.
(NOK 150,- = USD 24,-)

For those of us not familiar with the area -- Verdal is in Nord-Trøndelag.
Those books are also in the LDS Family History Library collection in the US. If you check their online library catalog you can get the publication details for at least 7 volumes. With publication details, author's names, etc. you can get a great deal of information about their availability.
At least some volumes of these books are also in the following US libraries:
US Library of Congress, Harvard University, St. Olaf College (MN), University of Minnesota, University of N. Dakota, New York Public Library, and the University of Wisconsin. I find it hard to believe that there is not any one of those libraries willing to Interlibrary Loan.
