I am anxious to know more about the Medals that were awarded to the crew of SS Missouri that rescued passengers from the stricken SS Danmark in 1889.
In particular I wish to contact David Barron who in 2005 reported he also had a set of Medals which had been given to his Grandfather.
Does anyone know how I can contact him.

I trust you have read the articles on this site about the Danmark disaster.

You can do a forum search for - Danmark - I found this 2004 posting:

http://www.norwayheritage.com/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1622&SearchTerms=,Danmark

Most of the postings that will come up in the search will just be for the country of Danmark.

I could not find a David Barron in the forum search, are you sure it was on this site?

Anyway, you can contact a member of Norway Heritage by clicking on their name. Most people have opted to allow an anonymous email contact option in their profile.

Thanks Jo Anne for promt reply. Yes I have read the article "Sinking of the SS Danmark" by Kristin Brue and it was there I found David Barron who made a comment about his grandfathers medals. Perhaps the comment is not part of the forum. His comment is still there to be read.
Grateful for any advice - thanks

I Googled - Danmark - David Barron - and he was listed for this site for sale of a Commercial CD. Turn down the volume.
