Hi

I am trying to trace my fathers grandfather in Norway. I have two place names off of certificates for him. One is Karo and the other is Keogi. Both apparantly in Norway.

Has anyone heard of these places and if so where are they??

Thanks
Allison

Sorry, none of these names make sense in Norwegian. Please try again with more clues after checking the original spelling carefully

Thanks for replying.

I have double checked these names and they are spelt correctly and definately says Norway.

I think they may have been written down incorrectly when he came out here to Australia.

Hi.
I think a bit of what can be done to the word Karo, which is not a norwegian name of a place. But if I change a letter or two, and put in letters that are not used in english, at least the word make sense. I think of Karø or Kårø. However, I don't know if such places exsists, the only thing I say is that it makes sense.
