I only know that Carl A. P. Scott came from Norway but I do not have the ship or the time he came here. I assume that he came here in the 1880s before his first child was born that being 1890. His name is probably spelled Karl and the A must stand for Anton P maybe for Peter or Peder. I do not know his wife's name. His daughter Gida Pauline Scott married my grandfather James Forgey in Montana and moved to Idaho in the latter part of 1910. Thanks Carla |

Someone else has posted information on your ancestors on Rootsweb.com:
http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:677563&id=I32899250
Gida Pauline Scott’s parents were Karl Skotte and Ann Rice. You can connect the two people who have posted these family trees, I am sure they can help you and are probably relatives.
I have found Carl in the 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 all in Chippewa County, WI census, born January 1853, immigrated 1879. Carl is widower, all children born in Wisconsin.
Carl Scott died after 1930, finding his death certificate could yield clues to his parents names.
Gida is in Chippewa in 1910 with her father, unmarried. She in Savoy, Blaine, MT in 1920 and 1930 with husband James and several children, Married 1914, all children born Montana. They did not move to Idaho until after 1930. Since you only asked about the voyage, I do not know if you already have this info.
Gida Forgey is listed in the Social Security Death Index, date of birth June 7, 1891, date of death January 1984, last residence Sand Point, Bonner, Idaho. You can get a copy of her Social Security Application for $28., it would list a lot of information including her parents names. You can access this information and print out a form letter on the free Rootsweb.com database.

On the free www.familysearch.org in the 1880 census, there is an Ann Rice, 20, born Norway living in Auburn, Chippewa County, WI.
On the Wisconsin Vital records index, there is an Anna Skotte, born August 20, 1896, in Dunn County, WI, this tracks with the dates for Anna Scott in the 1900 census.
