Im searching for familys in USA after my grand-grand father ,Lars Nielsen Hellen who was married to Martha AAdsdtr. Prestegaarden. They arrived New York 1836 with the ship Brig "Norden"

The book "Norwegian immigrants to the United States : a biographical directory 1825-1850" volume 1 1825-1843 may have mention of such an early family to arrive.
Check these websites for persons owning that book who have volunteered to do 'look-ups'. You may want to include the information of birthyears for Lars and Martha - just to help identify them.

Lars and Martha are mentioned on page 19 of the 1st book on emigration by Gerhard B. Naeseth, but there is no data of where they went in the USA.

1836 Norden, arrived in New York from Stavanger, July 20, 1836, Tønnes Willemsin, captain. Henry J Cadbury described this list in his "Four Immigrant Shiploads of 1836 and 1837" Studies and Records, I I: 20 - 32; it is also analyzed in Utvandere fra Rogaland, published in 1942: 23 - 24

11. (Lars Nielsen Hellen), s. of Niels Larsen Tysvaer, bp. in Hjelmeland, Jan 21,1810 m. 1836

12. Martha Deodors Praestegaarden, bp. Jan 9, 1814, dau. of Aad Andersen Praestegaarden and Anna Bjørndsdatter. -- Hjelemeland, Nor., par. rec. ; Stud. and Rec. , I I: 24, 28 Hjelmeland, I I: 349, 356

I am still seaching for this persons.
In Wisconsin Death 1820-1907 are there two persons:
Martha Prestegaarden, Death date 1898
Lars Nilson, Death date 1891
Both in Trempealeau.
Could this be the persons? Can anyone give me more informaion on this persons?
