I am looking for information about Ole Iverson, b. 17/5/1874 in Orlandet,Trondjem,Norway ... son of Iver Paulson and Annea Andreasdotter ... Iver Paulson Vig was b. 1822 - d. 1889, Annea was b. 1842 - d. unknown ... Ole left for USA from ?Oslo? and arr. in N.Y. 4/1892, and continued on to settle in Wisconsin and d. 25/3/1957 ... I have baptism records(in Norwegian) to verify individuals that are found .

Hi Ole Iverson Vik left from Trondheim Click Here and this is a possibilty for Iver Paulson in the 1865 census living on the Viig farm with his widowed mother and brother and sister Click Here

I appreciate the quick response - I will be talking with my mother soon, and she will be excited with this ... Would it be possible to see this in English(our Norsk is not that good ...) I am going to try to take this census record farther back ... Thanks for your help!

Hi I guess it is a quirk of the Digitalarkivet, the link was originaly in English. I think that if you will click on the link at the bottom of the page that says English (that will take you to their home page) and then switch back to this page and click on the the link here again it should come up in English.

The Parish records for Ørlandet are on line at the Digitalarkivet also and there is a marriage record for Iver Paulson Vik age 44 his father I think is Paul Larson and Anne Andreasdatter age 24 her father is Andreas Peterson. I believe the date is Oct 31, 1867. Links to the record don't seem to work but you can find the record here County = Sør Trøndelag parish = Ørlandet
