A passenger named Hans Petter Eriksson born 1875-11-09 in Ådals-Liden (named last name Persson in the passengerlist at "Tasso")went with this ship from Trondheim 1893-04-12 to Hull. My question is: Where and when did he arrived to America?
Later on he came to Minnesota and the first years in Minnesota he kept contact with his family in Sweden, but in time of World War 1 all contact was broken. Nobody knows what happened to him.
Thanks for any help!
Best regards
Anita Berglund Eriksson

Hi Anita

Hans Petter (according to the Digitalarkivet) traveled with the Allan Line across the Atlantic. The Allan Line agent was authorized to convey emigrants via Hull to Liverpool and from there to New York or Boston, and to Quebec or Montreal. The most used route for Norwegians going with the Allan Line was via Quebec. You could check out film C-4539.

Hi Anita
In the Minnesota Death Index http://people.mnhs.org/dci/Search.cfm
there is a Hans Peter Eriksen listed death date June 10, 1944 in Hubbard County. They don't list birthdates but you can order a copy of the death certificate.
The Minnesota Genweb http://www.rootsweb.com/~mngenweb/counties.htm
Hubbard County site has a lot of info only one problem they have errors in some of their URL's so if you get a Not Found look at the listed URL and you will see one of the slashes \ is backwords /. You can type in the correct URL and get to the page. There is a Hans Errikson listed in the census index. Possible miss spelled which happens a lot in the census.
There is also a contact person so you might be able to get more information.
Good Luck Carla
