Kari Olsen (Henriksdatter) was borned in Vinger 05.06.1843 and her daughter Laura Olsen (Andreasen) was borned in Vinger 08.11.1888. They emigrated from Christiania, Norway 01.06.1907 with the ship "Montebello". They wanted to go to Wisconsin, USA.
I cannot find them in any american passangerlists, but i think that I have found Kari with the name Cary Sparning (Skarning) in Cencus 1910 or 1920 in Wisconsin.
Can somebody help me with information?

Hello again Sissel; we just "met" at the Norwegian Digital Archive where you are searching for the same folks.

According to US Census 1920 there's a Carrie Sparning in Wheaton, Chippewa, WI.
However; her imigration year is noted as 1860. (could be wrong)Go back and have a look at the image, are the othere names familar to you?

(You're also looking for HANS SKARNING: I think that's the same person you'll find at the US Census 1920. Union, Rock, WI.

Plese put links to all the info you've found.

regards,

tor

If you are posting on two different forums and getting other information, then it is only polite to let us know what information you have received.

As Tor advised:

"Plese put links to all the info you've found."
