Anne Johannesdatter b. 1891 Gudrun Johannesdatter b. 1893 Johannes Johannesen b. 1894
All born in Lom, Gudbrandsdalen. Their parents name: Johannes and Ingebjørg (Embjør).
The 3 immigtated to Minnesota in 1913. I wonder if they settled there, if they married and had children. Maybe anyone could help me with some information? |

Hmmm....I'm finding a John Johannesen b abt 1894 arriving in New York on 18 May 1914, his birth location is listed as Gudbrandsdalen and it looks like his nearest relatives are Johannes Torgersen and Ingeborg Johannesdatter? living in Brummundalen, Norway? I'm not finding anything on the other 2. |

Actually, it might help if we had actual birthdates for them instead of just the years. If they settled in Minnesota and died in Minnesota, it would really help! |

Haldis,
Just curious, but do you know where the name Kleven comes from? I thought that maybe it had been the name of the farm where their father was born, since on the ship's passenger list, they list their father as Johannes Kleven of Lom.
From the 1900 census, you can see that the farm name of their farm is Hovtyen.
Good luck! Wanda |

Once you've found the manifest on EllisIsland.org, you need to click on "next page" , since they've shown the wrong page of the original manifest. Then about half way down the page, you'll find the Kleven's.
