Hi...


I am trying to find anything more abouth these relathives

Oluf Andreas Johnsen b may 1858. He left the ship " Flora "
in NY nov 1878

Karl Johnsen b 28 jun 1865. I don`t know when he left Bergen

Nicolay Aug Johnsen b 15 jul 1865 He left the ship " Gustav Adolph" in NY in may 1883

Marius Johnsen b 5 oct 1868. He left Bergen aug/ sept 1894

Anyone who can help me here ??

None of the information you have provided connects to anything I have access to. If they came from Bergen, they should be listed here:

Were they sailors? Did they have a farm name also?

If you look at the index of departures and arrivals on this site, there is no ship Flora or Gustav Adolph for the dates you have provided. I could not them or the ships in the Ancestry.com passenger list database.

I think the key thing is to find them in the Bergen (or other) exit records.

Here is a Oluf Andreas Johnsen, born 1858, leaving the Port of Kristiansand in 1899:

He arrived at the Port of New York aboard the Norge on April 10, 1899. Oluf A. Johnsen, 41, carpenter, from Forsund, in America 15 years, destination New York.

The birth of Karl Johnsen (b 28 jun 1865) and Nicolay Aug Johnsen (b 15 jul 1865) cannot be right - if the year is right then they have to be twins.
Where in Bergen do they come from?
