I am looking for Ludwig Lohne (the name interchanges with Martinsen and Jensen) born in Kristiansand Nov. 28, 1899. He had a brother Olbert who was younger. Both emigrated to USA circa 1920. Ludwig married Anna Olsen from Kristiansand born June 25, 1905. Any info. would be appreciated.

Thank you for the 1900 census. Is there a later census and what years?

Recommend you go to the links on this site and do some reading on beginning research about what is available in Norway and in the U.S. There is a wealth of free information and forms on the Internet.

Thank you for your work. As in my first posting Ludwig married Anna Olsen. Could you find some documentation about her?

Here is Ole's family in the 1865 census. Ole is shown as Ole Christian Tybring Abrahamsen.

According to the New York Passenger Lists Ludvig and his brother Obert arrived in New York on 16 May 1925 on their way to Casper, Wyoming.
