Albert Nilsen was employed as Material Manager at the mining company Ødegården Verk in Bamble. He was born in Hagby in Østergøtland in Sweden, son of Jens Peter Nilsen.

Karen Marie was born in Christiania (Oslo) Nov. 26. 1848 and christened in Aker church April 29. 1849 #83, daughter of fisherman Borger Larsen and Petronelle Olsdr. Lakkegaden (name of the street)

In 1865 the family lived in Søbergangen (name of the street) in Oslo with 5 children.

"Fisker" Fisherman Borger Larsen was born in Drammen in Buskerud county about 1819, Petronelle Larsen (Olsdr) was born in Ostøen about 1825, likely Osterøy in Hordaland county in western Norway Click here

Strange,
in 1875 censuc for Oslo Borger Larsen and his family lives in Smalgangen 10 in Oslo, but now he is listed as born in Froen parish in Akershus and his wife Petronelle (Olsdr) as born in Bærum parish in Akershus county, next to Oslo Click here

That make more cence, Borger/Børger was born in Fron anneks(local parish/wing) in Ås main parish in Akershus Sept 12. 1819, christened Sept 19. in Ås church, son of Lars Borgersen Bøkler and Karen Marie Nilsdatter.#31

Petronelle was born in Bærum local parish in Asker main parish in Akershus county Mai. 26. 1826, christened June 26.
She was daughter of Ole Pettersen and Kristine Johnsdr Ouster i ø. Bærum (hard to understand, can be farm Øster in eastern Bærum)

Ole Pettersen and Kristine Johnsdr lived at Ousterøen in ø. Bærum - Ousterøen is the same as Ostøya today and the farm on the island is Oust.

Ole Petteresen age 25 and Kristine Johnsdr age 30 married April 8. 1821 in Asker old church.
He was from Løgenes Ejer and she was from Leangen, both farms in eastern Bærum and not fare from Ostøya where they settled down Click here

Enter this map and watch Ostøya, "Zoom ut" once and watch Leangen in the left corner, Løgenæs is at Konglungen Click here
