I am trying to find out how to trace passengers from the ship Montebello (wilson Line) coming from Norway , via Kristiansand to Hull . ..and where they did go next.

Next port of departure for USA .
Cant find any record of them on Ellis Island either.
They left Norway oktober 10 .1902 . (Ship Montebello)

Did everybody go trough the control on Ellis Island ? Ore was there any other place for them to register at that time in 1902

Would be glad if anyone could help me with anything :o)

Hello and thanks wanting to help.

I am looking for 3 boys and where they travel from Hull in England to the USA .
I have this info about them leaving Norway the 10 of Oktober 1902 withe the ship Montebello (wilson line)
http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=47&filnamn=EMIOSLO&gardpostnr=138891&merk=138891#ovre
Hope you can use the link .

I have not managed to find them anywhere after embarking Hull .
I know the name they used after homesteading in N.Dakota .
They then took the Braaten name and not reiersen osv ..But I Have no idea when they did that change.
I visited with the Knut Braaten family some years agao in ND , and the family and I wanted to find out the "route "the brothers used to get to USA. (No one in family knows anything about the journey)

Mvh
