Krongodset på Hauge ble solgt til sjøleie i slutten av 1690 årene. With that in mind, how far back can I trace?

I have Ola Hauge (døpt Ole) 1697-1706
married to Jurun Kristensdtr 1690? - ??

His parents were Ole Madsen 1657 or 58 - 1706
married to Brynhild øysteinsdtr (no dates)

His father was Mads Rolfsen 1638 - ?
can't find wife

His father was Rolf Hauge (no dates)
married to Eline (no other info)

Can you help with missing info.? Are there sources which go further back than the 1600s?

What is the source of your information? What part of Norway are you researching in?

Source of information is Kaare Rudjord's ListaBoka Gard og Folk - in other words the most recent bygdabok printed in 1980.

The parish records for Lista, Vest-Agder exist for years as early as 1691;
Non-clerical probate records for the area including Lista exist for years as early as 1666;
Land and property records as early as 1722; Court records as early as 1657.
You will find the following censuses - 1664-1666, 1801, 1865, 1875 and 1900.
Besides the bygdebok volumes by Kåre Rudjord there also exists a volume by Abraham Berge.
