Your last question: Is that correct? is not posssible to give a positive answer too. All the evidence given on this posting comes from written records, thus no oral testimony is possible.

You have to read what is written, research, compare, analyze, and come to a conclusion based on what can be learned.

If you didn't receive the birth record of Andreas, here it is:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8981&idx_id=8981&uid=ny&idx_side=-85

Last entry, bottom of the page, note the date has been altered.

There is normally no reason to believe that the written info is not correct.
Marlene: In your last posting I have to suggest the following changes:
The record for Andreas birth and baptism is #75 on page 80 in the Nordre Land 1860-1871 register. His birth is changed to Sept 17.
His birth date Sept 17 is confirmed in the confirmation record.
His wife was born out of wedlock and the name is recorded as Anna Maria. Her parents were both born in 1849.
When Hansine was born they were living at Kværnsveen a cottage place under the farm Gaarder.
When Kristian was born they were living at Granvold where Andreas was a leaseholder and he served as sexton/church official.
