Can anyone tell me what a Norweigen speciedaler was worth in 1843 compared to American money either of the same period or today?

The value of one speciedaler from 1875 was in 2006 approx. NOK 180,-

The annual salary in the 1840's was about 25 specidaler for a hired man (farm hand), and about half of that (12-13 spd) for a female servant.

So 1 specidaler would be equal to about two weeks of salary for a farm hand.
