My g.f. born to this woman, Petra Hansen on the Bilet farm, Fredrikstad, in 1896. Would appreciate efforts to locate any other information about her. G.F given to foster parents to raise.
We have no understanding of what became of her after my g.f.'s birth in 1896.
HIS baptismal indicates she was born in 1868. Can anyone find any other records for her
Thanks so much.
Regards
KAnnie

Is there no hope for finding something on my gr. g.m. Petra Hansen?
I was so hopeful, and here is my only hope.
Is the bilet farm still there? Or any other way to see where she may have gone after her son's birth in 1896 on the Bilet farm? My mother never was able to know her naturally, but is now 89 and still has hopes of learning something about her. (me too)

Kind Regards,
KAnnie

It would be helpful for others to know the info given on this topic
You may get a foto of the farm by using
this map
For "Søk" - search use Bilett "velg" - choose Bilett (Gårdsbruk), Fredrikstad, Østfold and "skråfoto".
I have just found that Emilie Altenborn, who baptized Christian "at home" i.e. the Bilet farm, was the midwife.

Thanks eibache for your new info!!
Is it a strong possibility that my gr.g.Petra Hansen b. 1868 was only on the farm during her pregnancy and birth of my g.f. I've not seen any records to indicate her family was living there or working there. This--only adding to the difficulty of records relating to her??
Thanks for your advisements on this search!
Best Regards,
KAnnie

It is most likely that Petra was at the Bilet farm just to give birth to her child. Where she came from is difficult to see. In the 1900 census it is recorded just one Petra (Marie) Hansen born 1868 and who does not have any children born before 1896 - the only one is unmarried and living with her parents at the Austad farm in Hof, Hedmarken.

Hey! that is great info. So you do think this may be her
Where is the Austad farm? And the city which you spoke of? I'm excited, and hoping we've located our gr.g. Mother and my mother's g.mother--of which she has been most interested in knowing of! Hoping to see more. How about the 1900 census record
Thanks so much!

May I get the census record concerning Petra Hansen in 1900? Is there any other bit of info I could benefit in knowing in our effort of finding Petra? Records about her parents?
Kind Regards,
KAnnie
