Census 1930 for Fillmore, MN: Carl Syvertson b 1862 Jessie B Syvertson b 1900 Calvin Syvertson b 1925 Bettey Syvertson b 1928
Census 1920 for Fillmore, MN: Carl S Syvertson b 1863, immigration year 1874
A possibility for Jessie: Census 1920 for Fillmore, MN: Jessie B Johnson b 1901
Census 1910 for Fillmore, MN: Carl S Severtson b 1862, immigration year 1874 Karine Severtson b 1865 Selmer Severtson b 1889 Emil Severtson b 1891
Could it be this one in census-1880 for Hartland, Freeborn, Minnesota?

Carl Syvertson is quite a common name, so we have to trace backwards slowly, to try to locate his origin.
The age difference between Carl and Jessie are almost 40 years, so I guess Carl could have been a widower when he met Jessie. Then his previous wife could have been Karine b 1865.
And did the Severtson family live in Becker, Minnesota in census-1900? I find two boys there, which look like theirs, but can't see the parents...?
Selmer Severtson b 1888 Emil S Severtson b 1892
And could this be Emil?
Syvertson, Emil Cornelius Date of Birth: 31 May 1890 Place of Birth: Minnesota Date of Death: 15 Jun 1981 County of Death: Highland, Fillmore Mother Maiden Name: Erlandson
Two possibilties for Selmer: Selmer Severtson b 20 Apr 1887 d Jul 1964 MN Selmer Syvertson b 27 Jan 1889 d Mar 1969 Inkster, Grand Forks, ND

Wonder if the "S" in Carl S Syvertson stands for Sigvard?
Carl Sigvard Sivertsen Birth: 08 JAN 1862 Christening: 27 APR 1862 Norderhov, Buskerud Parents: Syver Haagensen & Karen Jensdr
This could be him: Emigration from Oslo on 10-JUL-1874, Carl Sivertsen (11.5) from Norderhov, destination Rushford Minnesota. Travelling companion looks to be Marie Jens. (58).
Another candidate for the 10-JUL-1874 emigration (his age fits better...):
Carl Sivertsen Birth: 04 MAR 1863 Christening: 26 APR 1863, Norderhov, Buskerud Parents: Syver Henriksen & Oline Christophersdr Census-1865
Please note that there are at least 12 "Carl Syvertson, born 1861-1863" in the Norwegian 1865-census.
