Could someone please be so kind as to take a look at Peder Johnsen's birth record, line # 11, at the link below and tell me what the "Aas" after both Peder's and his father's name means?

http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=17052&idx_id=17052&uid=ny&idx_side=-12

Do the Godparents look like this and any help with the last one would be much appreciated!
Ole Olson Svelmoe, Siri Pedersdatter
Ingeborg Johnsdatter, ______________

Thanks for the help!

Aas is the name of the farm where they lived.

Aas is the farm name. Not common to include the farm for the childs name.
I read the godparents as follows: Halvor Olsen Aas, Bersvend Johnsen Østbye, Ole Olsen Svelmoe, Siri Pedersdatter Aas, Ingeborg Johnsdatter Aas, Guri Olsdatter Svelmoe.

Seeking assistance again please ... am unable to read anything but "Nordland" in the following Peder Johnson Vifstad's migration record, Migration records 1851, page 558, right side, # 29. Can anyone make out the rest? Thanks very much for the help!

He didn´t move fare. "Til hvad sted" Where to go:
From Nedre (Lower) Stjørdal to Nordland (county), he went north.

June 18. "Ungkarl" Bacelor Peder Johnsen Vifstad age 21 to Nordland (hard to read the info. between) f.i. (born in?)Tydal.

Sør Trøndelag county
Nordland county

Between the two counties is Nord Trøndelag county.

Thank you both! I was hoping that the unreadable part would give some clue as to where he went in Nordland in 1851. By 1856 in his marriage record in Stadsbygd I think he is listed as a "master glazier". So somewhere between 1851 and 1856 he must have done an apprenticeship for several years to become a master glazier? There are parts I can't read in his marriage record in 1856, page 247, #29, perhaps I have mis-read it or there is a clue there?

He is listed with that title on his death certificate in 1886, and also on his son Martin's Confirmation record in 1892. But not on his son Martin's birth record in 1877. Appreciate any light anyone can shed on the marriage record! Thanks again!

They were married Monday September 22 - Peder Johnsen Vifstad was bachelor, glazier and gilder, born in Tydal, living in Stadsbygd, he was 26 years old and his father was John Evensen.

Thanks very much! I appreciate the "Gilder", didn't get that ...
Guess I'll have to consider those the "lost years" until a later date! Thanks again!
