My name is Tom Pluff (new to site). I am trying to find more information on two of my ancestors and the ships they may have come in on. I have not been able to find much to work with and I am hoping for ideas. Would anyone have information on the following. Andreas Larsen Haakenstad b.10/21/1828 Ringsaker, Hedmark, Norway d. 7/29/1917 Dane, Wisconsin Arrived U.S. 1887 Andreas Anderson b. 7/18/1820 Oppland, Norway d.Jan. 1860 Christiana, Dane, Wisconsin. Would anyone have any ideas or information on them or where I may find information.

Andreas did pass away in Christiana, Dane, Wisconsin (29 July 1917). I know he arrived in the U.S. in 1887 at age 59. I have no information on his parents. I am hoping to find the ship he came in on and possibly his parents.

That was Andreas Larson in my first posting. The name appears twice in the information we have and I am trying to verify/sort the individuals. My Aunts records have one on my Grandfathers line and another on a Grandmothers line two generations earlier.
