Is there anywhere on the internet I can access records of names of Norwegian emigrants in the early 1870's ie: Digitalarkivet?? I understand records where more thoroughly kept from the late 1860's. I am looking for my GG Grandfather Charles Frederick Boese (poss Carl Frederik Boes) who emigrated to New Zealand abt. 1872.

The Digitalarkivet has many of those police generated emigration records for the various departure ports of Norway available.
