I try to find out more about my greatgrandfather.
All I know is that his name was Jeremy Wright and that he was one of the crew on board S/S Eskimo 1910-1911.
He must have been in west Norway at the end of 1910.
Perhaps he was born in Scotland, but I don't know that for sure.

Hello Cathrine
Have you tried any of the British censuses? There are no crew lists existing in Norway for the British ships. You will probably have to do some research at the Public Record Office in Kew, England to find such such information. It is also a small possibility that they have some information at the Maritime Museum in Hull.
