Knud Knutsen b. 1763 Eg i Lundsogn, Rogaland d. 1834 someplace på Lista
His daughter by his 1st marriage was Berte Knudsdatter b. 1790 at Frestadhei (between Vanse & Farsund) d. Frestadhei, Hestespranget.
Knud Knudsen's 2nd wife was Inger Olsdatter (1751-1831)
1.) Can anyone find Berte's mother, Knud's 1st wife?
2.) Looking for information about Knud Knutsen too

Yes, as shown on the link you provided to the 1801 census, Berte is living with her father knud Knudsen and his second wife Inger Osdtr. Inger is Berte's step mother, I'm looking Berte's mother. Thanks.

It looks like Lund church book 1760-1800 is not scanned. But Familysearch has listed Knud Knudsen, born 1764 LDS IGI, and Gunhild born 1788 LDS IGI, Berte born 1790 LDS IGI. His first wife was Joren Torjussen, born 1764 LDS IGI

LDS record for Gunhild says she was born Nov 3 1788, father Knut Eeg = Knud Knudsen.
Since Berte and Gunhild both were 13 years in the 1801 census, I believe LDS record says that Berte born 1790 is not correct.
LDS record for Tønnes says that mother was Joren, reasonable to believe that this was Joren Torjusdatter.

The LDS Family History Library catalog indicates that they have bok 3 of the church records for Lund (which includes records for years approximately 1761-1801) available for order/use on microfilm through any of their many Family History Centers.

Those IGI entries are absolutely the least reliable form of source (submitted by unnamed person) and must be checked and verified in the most primary record available.

To P. Hopkins - you too may be right
There's a Jorun Torsen f. 1755 Time, Togaland (m. Guri Rasmussen f. Tor Karlsen) - and that's a possibility too. I may need to take a trip to an LDS Family Library Center.
Thanks for the heads-up,
Debbie
