Actually only China has more dialects in per cent of the population than Norway, can be a real challenge even to a Norwegian.

J.P.Rud likley learned to write about 1850, it wasnt easy to translate even his handwriting was nice, espesially because a lot of the ink had vanished so parts of the letters was gone.
Her is what I was able to get from picture 1, the whole letter could perhaps change the contents, but not much.

...could not be able to do much concerning the case and decided to wait and see how J.P. would act. Later a new meeting was held and one could see that John had not stopped but it was getting worse and worse for him so the secretary was ordered to write to him and remind him about the violent life he is living and invite him to a meeting and remind him on his promise in a former meeting in the congregation for an explonation.
J.P.R. did not appear to this meeting but he informed that he is leaving the congregation and the letter Berg had done in the evening he demanded it published. Bergs letter goes like this

J.P.R. Lake Park Feb. 1. 1881

When the ....as for all should be known.....fight/punch-up going on.....and all...I was....by .......parish council ordered to remind you on what you had promised in the meeting on March. 6. 1880.

If it still is a wish to have a best possible translation of the records it is a good start to agree on the "Norwegian text". Pictures on word records would be preferred, if not possible I have tried to decipher the pictures in this topic. It goes as follows:
Picture 1
Denne Sag vil blive behandlet paa Møde?

Til Bekreftelse herpaa sættes vor engenhendige Underskrift. Delegatmøde Lake Park den 12te May 1876

Delegatmøde 18de og 19de May 1880
Regnskab og Revisorenes Oversigt over Regnskabene. Da vi nu havde ??

You have done a great job Einar, actually I was waiting for your translation, you are really good on this.
I printed out and studied page 1 last night by the help of my old , worn magnifying glass.
You must have spend hours on this job.

in Picture 1 I had "servitør" waitor but your "sekretær" secretary seems correct, I was thinking of the saloon keeper further down.

Page 1 has been corrected after I learned how to use Ctrl + by Einar instead of a magnifying glass.

Thank you SO much...I can't believe you were able to get that far! I apologize for the quality of the photos, they were taken from ELCA microfilm (thank you for the suggestion to order those!). There were a few additional pages that I did not copy but was going to attempt to transcribe. A couple of the images posted are just better closeups of a particular section. Thank you so much.

A little theology: picture 5: Læren om kirketugt blev først behandlet idet Daterecks (Dutericks?) Forklaring om Nøglemagten blev lagt til Grund.

Church Discipline was first subject, as D????'s explanation about "The office of the keys" was used as basis.

Hello,

I added 6 new images onto imageshack. One image is from Dec 19 1880, the next 2 are Feb 14 1880 (the 2nd one has a clearer bottom section), 2 from Feb 19, 1881 (again, the bottom section shows up better on the 2nd image), and one from Feb 19, 1881 which is the very bottom of image #1 above.

I am still translating the other sections that were posted in Norwegian. It is a challenge figuring out the different word forms, etc...but interesting, thank you again!
