I am interested in information as to the ships connecting with the SS Argo (1) in May, 1867. The passenger list is at http://www.norwayheritage.org/p_list.asp?jo=126&ps=105125

My main interest is how the 4 members of the Helland family below got to New York. From the information on the passenger list, I assume they must have arrived from Christiania at Hull, then taken the train to Liverpool, and another ship to NY. Is there any information available on the connections? Thanks!
ID 955412648 Helland 44 Dep. 10 may 1867. Rev.. Stavanger - New York
ID 955422648 Helland 23 Dep. 10 may 1867. Ms.. Stavanger - New York
ID 955432648 Brønla Helland 36 Dep. 10 may 1867. Miss.. Stavanger - New York
ID 955442648 Anna Helland 20 Dep. 10 may 1867. Miss.. Stavanger - New York

You could estimate some travel time for that family and then start browsing through the passenger arrival lists for 1867 New York that are available on microfilm from either the US National Archives or the LDS Family History Library system.
Passenger lists will have been submitted from each ship arriving at that port.

Could they have arrived on the same ship as Laura Sogstad (22)? She is listed as Dep. 10 may 1867. Christiania - New York

Laura Sogstad arrived New York on May 27th, 1867, sailing from Liverpool.
