Not mush help I can bring up, I find two sites, one Norwegian and this Australian updatet 2009.
Some cargo ships with timber from Skien in Telemark County sailed for Australia in the 1860 taking emigrants with them, its been mentioned two times in topics here earlier including ship name, could be in 2008, in my postings, but I cant find back to it.
To get to Australia from Norway in the 1860s you had to travel via England to my knowledge.
