I would like to connect with any relative that is related to Anton Neilson.

He travelled from Norway to Napier on the Hovding in 1872.

He was with his partner Oline and their daughter Matilda.

Anton and Matilda now rest in the Waitemate Cemetry in Auckland New Zealand.
They previously presided in Kingsland Auckland New Zealand.

It would make my day if anyone knew of these people, even better, if they were related.

Please email me on coulterconstruction@xtra.co.nz

Regards

Billie-Jo

They were from Ullensaker (Ullensager), Akershus, Norway. Investigate in records of that area for possible relatives.

To find any relatives we need the parents and where they were born.
It seems neighter the wedding, their daughter Mathilde´s birth or the emigration was taken place in Ullensaker, so it´s perhaps this couple?

Anton Nielsen and Oline (Paulsdr), both from Ullensaker in Akershus county, married in Trefoldighetskirken in Oslo July 11. 1870.
Fathers were Niels Amundsen and Paul Paulsen.
Couple #61

Most likely these are the right people. The age, place of birth and the names correspond concerning both Oline and Anton (his birth record still not found):

Oline was born Jan. 29, christened in Ullensaker April 8. 1844 on Ranbyeie.
Parents: Paul Paulsen and Marthe Olsdatter Ranbyeie (a place under farm Randby).
Godparent: Jĝrgine Olsdatter Lodding, Ane Pedersdatter, Hans Olsen, Ole Olses Sr. and Ole Olsen Jr. Looding
Christening #49

Hi,
you can contact Billie-Jo by e-mail.
Click on her name.
I didnt find Anton´s birth record in October.
I think is´t #144 born August 10. 1849 to Niels Amundsen and Mari Hansdatter Aaseie?

Hello,
There appears to be another Anton Neilson b 1849 in Rakkestad, Ostfold. Is Rakkestad very near Ullensaker Akershus? Could it be the same person?
My Anton states on his naturaliztion certificate and departure from Norway as being born in Ulsaker, so perhaps this is more reliable than Rakkestad, what do you think? Linda
