Her baptismal record is #27
baptized Aaste and her parents Knud Knudsen and Guri Halvorsdatter were cottars on Røvang (Rødvang).
Slidre, Lomen and Ron (Røn) were parishes, Aaste must come from Lomen, that is were the farm Rødvang is situated. You can find it with this map
Most likely port of departure Oslo (Kristiania).

Port of Drammen or Christiania (Oslo) was used for passengers from Slidre. As there is no surviving passenger list for 1860 it would be hard to find the right ship. The use of steamships (S/S) via England had not realy started yet, so this leaves us with only 3 likely departures:

Ship Drøbak leaving Christiania Apr. 3
Bark Nordlyset leaving Christiania May 5
Ship Helvetia, leaving Drammen May 10
Ship Nordamerika (Arrived Quebec May 19 would have left Christiania before Drøbak )
Lamartine leaving Christiania June 19 (late departure)
