Karl Johan Siversen, age 19, shoemaker from Lier, Norway traveling to Duluth, MN with a prepaid ticket on the ship "Cameo", from the passport records for OSLO of Oct 20, 1882. We know he arrived in the US on 5 Nov 1882.
I could not find him in U.S. Passenger lists, he most likely came through Canada and boarded a Great Lakes steamboat to Duluth, this usually took a couple of days..
Here is the most likely ship, the Parisian, left Liverpool on October 26, 1882, arriving in Quebec on November 4, 1882. He would be listed under "Foreign", the list is 15 pages long:
