My great grandfather, Martin Solberg, Left Christiania 22 mar 1889 with S/S Angelo. I have got a list of all corresponding ships he might have used for arriving US. However, and in general, no passenger lists for 1889 are not available under this site. Can anyone give info where these can be found? |

Hi, Martin Solberg arrived America on April 13th, 1889, sailing on the SS Carthaginian from Liverpool. Port of Arrival is listed as "Boston, Massachusetts and Halifax, Nova Scotia" Source: Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935

The original manifest for the SS Carthaginian journey. Martin's destination reads Dunlop, IA (Iowa). (The Oslo record said Dunlep)
